Chem-E-Car works as a student-oriented team, where the acquaintance will implement
their engineering skills to design optimized cars. This will enhance the ability of
the student to think creatively and productively to achieve optimal solutions.
Teamwork will unite the members to work together on a mundane vision. Moreover, they
will gain the experience to work on a project solely. “WE TOGETHER STRONG TOGETHER
GROW TOGETHER” – our slogan reflects the denotation of working together. This
competition provides an individual to convey their expertise on the next level. They
will get the opportunity to implement their classroom knowledge beyond the walls
into the real world.
Properties of Chem E-car
The car works on electrical energy obtained from electrochemical reaction
between potassium hydroxide solution, magnesium strip and graphite rod.
Cells are connected in various combinations as per requirement to run the
car up to specific distance.
The output from the combination of cells is connected to motors for rotating
the wheels.
For the stopping mechanism, the Iodine clock is used.
The Sister Chapter Program is a rare opportunity to prepare Student Chapter members
for a global industry. Under the Sister Chapter Program, a sisterhood is a
formalized partnership among Student Chapters from splendid worldwide places. Being
a part of Sister Chapter Program is a way to connect, learn and explore more that
too having fun. The Sister Chapter Program allows to connect Student Chapters
globally, similarly to to facilitate inside the professional development of its
pupil people via analyzing the manner to work with chemical engineering scholar
buddies from considered one of a kind cultural and geographic backgrounds. We are
proud to announce our sister chapter "The New Jersey Institute of Technology"(NJIT).
NJIT’s AIChE Student Chapter is action-oriented and their hard work manifests itself
into national and international recognition. The NJIT Student Chapter accepted an
AIChE Outstanding Student Chapter Award at the 2018 and 2019 Annual Student
Conference. Sister Chapter Program is a way to connect, learn and explore more that
too having fun.
