Outstanding Student Chapter Award

The Ahmedabad University Student Chapter received the Outstanding Student Chapter Award for the Academic year 2018-19 and with this it was the first Indian chapter to receive this award in its very first year. This award is presented annually to those Student Chapters that show an exceptional level of participation, enthusiasm, program quality, professionalism, and involvement in the university and community at the Global level.

International Student Chapter Leadership Development Travel Grant

Darshan Soni, fourth year chemical engineering student, founder and then President of Ahmedabad University Student Chapter received International Student Chapter Leadership Development Travel Grant Award for his Leadership involvement in chapter development, AIChE ESC and academic achievement. This grant is awarded to only 8 AIChE student leaders from around the globe.

Parth Patel, second year chemical engineering student who was the Events Head and K-12 Coordinator of Ahmedabad University Student Chapter had received Freshman Recognition Award for his most active contribution to the chapter in his freshman year.

Anjali Suthar, third year chemical engineering student who was Technical Head of Ahmedabad University Student Chapter had received Donald F. Othmer Sophomore Academic Excellence Award for her highest scholastic grade-point average during her freshman and sophomore years.

Outstanding Student Chapter Award

This award is presented to the student chapters who show a great level of participation, enthusiasm, involvement and participation. It is given considering many criteria such as participation of student and faculty, community contributions and meetings and events hosted in the term. It is presented every year and one of the recipients of this award for the 2019-2020 term is AIChE Ahmedabad University and we proudly announce that we have won the award now for two consecutive terms.

International Student Chapter Leadership Development Travel Grant

This award facilitates the participation and leadership development of the some of the renowned students who have proved themselves through hard work and dedication. Only eight travel grants are offered to students among all the AIChE Student Chapters. One of the grants was offered to Parth Patel of AIChE Ahmedabad University. This award is supported by the AIChE Foundation.

It is an award given to the most active freshman year member of the AIChE student chapter who has participated with most determination and enthusiasm. This term the Freshman Recognition is bagged by Aparnaa Iyer.

This award is presented to an active AIChE student who has bagged exceptionally good grade point average in the freshman and sophomore year on the recommendation of Student Chapter Advisor. This term the award was bagged by Saumya Parikh from Ahmedabad University.

Winner of Chem-E-Jeopardy SRC 2020

Chem-E-Jeopardy is the game of Jeopardy which utilizes chemical ungraduated questions. The winner of every regional student chapter Chem-E-Jeopardy will compete each other in the Annual Student Conference. The Chem-E-Jeopardy in the SRC South East Asia ‘Prajwalit’ 2020 was won by the Ahmedabad University team.
